Inward processing
Inward processing is a customs procedure by which work processes are carried out on commission or for the purpose of repairs. Goods or raw materials are provided for processing/further processing by a customer or commissioning party in a third country.
Inward processing can be used so that no duty is payable during the import of the goods into the importing/inward processing country and during its re-export to the supplier/commissioning party. The proof of the status of goods imported for inward processing must be maintained with respect to the customs authority at all times, for example, if the good is still in inward processing or if the product has already been processed for the manufacture of a new product, etc.
We can provide you with software that supports the management of inward processing, and that conveniently links and monitors the importation and re-exportation of goods.
Our solutions contain a range of applications to ensure that procedures are secure and transparent, including evaluation, record-keeping and integrated inventory accounting. At the same time, our software complies with all customs requirements for the management of inward processing.
